Melissa, Joe, Erin and the rest of the crew did a great job remodeling the guest bedroom upstairs in my house. Despite a heat wave and lack of air conditioning on the second floor they completely gutted the walls and ceiling and removed the old carpeting, then added insulation and dry-walled the room and installed LVT flooring. Melissa and Joe were responsive to any questions or concerns I had and I think the end result was a nice room suitable for visitors.

I was very pleased with the project that was completed in my family room. Joe did a great job and I am happy with the results.

I had an ice dam on my roof that caused extensive flooding and damage through the second floor of my house . This was especially devastating as I had already recently completely renovated this home. Ironborn Contracting responded quickly , and immediately thoroughly assessed the damage and prepared a detailed plan of action, including both removing all water damage in the insulation and structures in the attic , completely removing and replacing all drywall in the bedrooms , painting , removing carpeting, replacing much of the woodwork/ and everything else needed to return the space to its original condition. They fit me in very quickly also, because they could see that this had completely disrupted my life and I also had family coming soon from overseas. I was impressed and comforted by their quick response to my situation. They sent various teams who were skilled at the different components of the work, and also sent their manager to review the completed job and see what tweaks might be needed to make it just right. They are a dedicated and caring team.

4 season porch - Ironborn added a custom 4 season porch to our house. They took care of all the licensing, permits, inspections and recommended and coordinated with all subcontractors. They did an excellent job working with us and the rest of team to create a beautiful room They were very efficient and got the project completed very quickly. They were easy to communicate with and got back to us quickly if we had questions. The price they quoted was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them for any project.

Joe and the Ironborn team did a great job putting a bathroom in my basement from scratch! They were very prompt and got the job done quickly, and it came out amazing! If there was ever any sort of concern or decision to be made, Joe always made sure my requests were met or adjusted to help my vision come to life. They even accomodated the project to fit a laundry room attachment and they also took care of replacing my old electric work down there. Just had to write this review. During that deep snowfall recently, I was at my wits end on how to get dug out. All my reaching out warranted nothing. Then I found IRONBORN. Within an hour a crew showed up, dug me out and saved the day. I am forever grateful for their help. I will be sure to call on them for future needs.

I hired Ironborn Contracting for a series of major home renovations, including full window replacement, relocating and replacing the front door with a double door, brick infilling the existing front door opening, removing a spiral staircase and infilling the opening, and building a new traditional staircase. This also involved reworking bedroom and closet walls to extend an existing hallway. The quality of the work was excellent throughout. The new windows and doors are a significant upgrade, both in appearance and function. The installation crew replaced 11 windows in one day, and my place was as clean when they left as when they got there. The double front door required removing an existing bay window and brick, and adding new framing. The new door completely changes the look of the house and gives it a more finished, welcoming feel. The staircase work was especially impressive. The removal of the old spiral stairs and the construction of a new, traditional staircase was handled seamlessly. The layout changes to accommodate the new stairs were well thought out, and the final result looks like it was part of the original design. Everything ties together cleanly, and the overall space now feels much more functional. Ironborn’s crew was professional, and the work was completed in a reasonable amount of time considering the scope of this project. I am very happy with the final results and would confidently recommend Ironborn Contracting for similar construction projects.
